Yesterday was a great day as the "old" Bisons came back to rejoin the Harding Football family. Everyone we expected to return reported with the exception of Evan Wynne, who was in a car accident with his mother on the way to the airport. As of last night, both Evan and his mother are doing OK, and everyone is expected to have a full recovery. We're hoping that Evan will arrive within the next day or two.
Today we're equally excited as our freshmen report. They're a good looking group, and geographically diverse, as well. We have one from Miami, FL, and one from Spokane, WA (approximately 3,000 miles apart), and about 60 others from everywhere in between.
In all, we'll end up with a record high 136 players. We're all thrilled and ready to go. Tonight at 7:30 is the conditioning test for all returning players, and we'll hit the field for the first time tomorrow night after church at 7:00.
