Message from Coach Beason
You may want to get in the weight room before today's team meeting at 3:30. Some of you have been busting it a lot since the season, and some of you have not done much this past few weeks. It is OK to have taken some time off, but now it is time to get after it again. Since players are at different stages in their workouts, the first week is kind of mild so that you are not unbelievably sore. Then it progresses. If you have been in the weight room a lot over the past few weeks, then you can add a set or two to some of the lifts. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you start doing more than just lifting weights these next few weeks. You will appreciate your "base" conditioning once the spring semester starts. Several things you can do include gassers, 100's, basketball, racquetball, swimming, biking, jogging, etc. Just be active and stretch before and after!
