Jess Lanier (Bison from 1995-1998) has a 5 month old daughter, Jaycie, that has been diagnosed with craniosynostosis. This condition is where a portion of her skull has prematurely fused together, not allowing the skull to grow properly. They have consulted with doctors in Dallas and Houston and are going to have to have major surgery done after the first of the year in Houston at Texas Childrens. Jaycie also has an eye condition that will require surgery 3 months after this initial surgery on her skull. They are struggling a bit with all of this because she is so little, and, as Jess said, "after all she is our baby girl." Jess and his family would like to ask for the Bison family to keep them in their thoughts and prayers.
